Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about whitening with Nua.
How do Nua whitening strips work?
Nua strips use a PAP and hydroxyapatite formula instead of peroxide. The PAP lifts everyday stains to brighten your teeth, while hydroxyapatite helps remineralise your enamel and keep sensitivity down. You get a whiter smile without the sting that peroxide whiteners often cause.
Are they safe for sensitive teeth?
Yes. They are completely peroxide-free and made with sensitive teeth in mind. The hydroxyapatite strengthens enamel rather than stripping it, so most people find them comfortable even if peroxide treatments have bothered them in the past.
How long until I see results?
Most people see a visibly whiter smile across the 14-day treatment. Each pack has 28 strips, which is 14 daily applications. Your results will depend on your starting shade and the kind of staining you have.
How do I use them?
Apply one strip along your upper teeth and one along your lower teeth, leave them on for [30 minutes], then peel away and rinse. Use them once a day for the full 14 days to get the best result.
Will they damage my enamel?
No. Nua is formulated to be enamel-safe. Rather than relying on high-strength peroxide, the hydroxyapatite supports your enamel while the PAP gently lifts stains.
Will they whiten crowns, veneers or fillings?
Whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, so strips will not change the shade of crowns, veneers, bonding or fillings. It is worth keeping in mind if you have any dental work on your front teeth.
How long do the results last?
With good brushing habits and by going easy on staining culprits like coffee, tea and red wine, your results can last for months. A short top-up treatment every so often keeps things bright.
When will my order arrive?
Order before 3pm on a weekday and we ship the same day for next-day delivery. Weekend orders are dispatched on Monday and delivered Tuesday.
